He graduated from the University of Ibadan in June 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree 2nd class upper in Agric biochemistry and nutrition and a master’s degree in 1980 with a distinction (MBA) in finance from Long Island University, New York, USA.

Alhaji Durojaiye worked with various organizations from September 1980 which includes Bank of Credit and Commerce International Limited, Afribank Nigeria Plc., Lead Merchant Bank Limited and Stanbic-IBTC Bank Plc. where he rose to the position of Deputy General Manager, Operations and Branch Co-ordination in June 2001. He is the Chairman of TEEJAY Nigeria Limited, a logistics and supply company.
