He is a graduate of Yaba college of Technology, Yaba and ESUT Business School. He qualified as a Chartered Stockbrokers in 1988 and also an alumnus of Lagos Business School.

Mr. Opeodu started his career in 1987 with Capital Trust Brokers Limited as a clerkship Trainee before moving to ATIF Securities Limited as a Manager in 1990.Prior to Joining Union Capital Market in 2005 as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, he was a Manager in Lead Merchant Bank Limited and Pioneer General Managers of Lead Securities and Investments Limited and Union Stockbrokers Limited respectively.
